A Time to be Born

Charles “Killer” Hopson was born January 6, 1955 in Meridian, Mississippi. His birth was a blessing to his parents, the late Alex C. Hopson and the late Rosie L. Hopson.

A Time to Build

With the guidance from his parents, and the grace of God, Charles accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and joined St. John’s Baptist Church.

A Time to Love

He loved family, riding motorcycles and playing his guitar. Charles started playing the lead guitar at a young age which transition him to love music. His love of motorcycles started at a young age riding on the back of his dad’s bike. He loved interacting with people and sharing his beautiful smile.

A Time for Peace

Charles’s transition to Life Eternal occurred on Thursday, September 26, 2024, with an abundance of peace and love that only our Lord and Savior can offer. Mourning but celebrating Charles’s Eternal Life are: his loving children, Ureka (Reginald) Stanford (Atlanta, GA), Jamie Hopson, Renee Stewart, Phalana (Mickey) Stewart, Jasmine Smith, Octavia Hickman, Roy (Trinity) Hickman Sr., Tamika (Calvin) Craft (Columbus, OH); grandchildren, Noah Stanford, Joshua Stanford, Madison Stanford, Gabrielle Couch, Andria Couch, Mia Couch, Nia Holt, Nya Stewart, Naki Weir, Roy Hickman Jr., LaShondra Hickman, Ericka Hickman, RaeQuanne Hickman, RaeLynne Hickman, GiaVonnie Craft, Harley Hunt, Calvin Craft, Jaquorria Craft, UniquesHaven Craft; sister, Demetri (Micki) Hopson; and a host of nephews, (Damien Hopson), cousins and life-long friends.
