Andriquez M. M. Acklin was born on May 29, 1992 to Lucinda Acklin-White and the late Anthony Tyrone Thompson. Andriquez loved the Lord. He was baptized at the age of 9 at Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church in 2001, and then was led to join Parson Baptist Church in 2004. The State of Ohio labeled him as a chiold with a disability. But Drique was determined to let everyone see him as a child of God. Always inspiring people to love one another. His favorite line was, “Why can’t we all just show some love.”
Drique attended Columbus Public Schools. He graduated from Marion Franklin High School, Class of 2011 and Fort Hayes Career Center (Where he received a certificate of completion in the Environmental Work Study Program. He worked at Grant/Riverside, then he attended a summer program at Columbus School for the Blind, where his internship was at COSI. He attended Columbus State Community College where he entered into the Community Habilitation program and he remained on the Dean’s List for all 4 quarters and through this period he worked at Grant/Riverside and Goodwill. He completed Columbus State with a Certificate of Completion in 2012. Then he landed a job working for Franklin County at ARC Industries where he worked until his departure.
