Anthony Dupree Drew (Drew Down) was born on September 13, 1975, to Anthony H. Ridley (deceased) and Marilyn Drew-Talley.

Anthony attended Columbus City School’s where he met so many of his lifelong friends. He loved traveling, shooting pool, and most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. It has been said he missed his real calling as a comedian because he was always telling jokes and being the life of the party. Anthony was always dressed to the “T” and made sure his “Drip” was right. He loved his children and cherished their time together. Last but certainly not least, Anthony was an avid fan of the Pittsburg Steelers as well as the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Anthony is preceded in death by his (Father): Anthony H. Ridley, (Paternal Grandparents) William and Seritha Ridley and Seven Aunts. (Maternal Grandparents) Warwick P. and Ruby Drew, Uncle Maurice Drew, Cousins, Bryan Drew and Kia Glover-Thomas.

And he leaves to cherish his memories, his loving, supportive and proud mother, Marilyn Drew-Talley, his children Jerome, Aerranna, Amirah, Anonda and Tiaja. His siblings: Aaron Drew, Angela (Antione) Vaughn. Aunts, Lois (Clarence) Glover, Joyce (Terry) Townes, Uncle Billy Drew. (God-Mother) Linda Hilton-Prillerman, (Special Cousin), Shawn L. Drew, Special friends, Dorlisa Story, Qiona Bennett, Charkira Perry, Deenetra Pitts along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and relatives.

Words from Mom… Anthony, you are and will forever be truly missed. You always told me you were going to shine again, well you are shining now and I feel the love each and every day shing down from heaven upon me. Every day since you’ve been gone, I draw strength from the memory of your voice saying, “Love You Moms!”
