Ashley Nicole Anderson was born on Thursday, December 13,1984 in Jackson, MS to Mary M. Anderson (Smith) and Anthony C. Anderson.
Ashley attended Eastmoor Academy and Wright State University where she studied Criminal Psychology and African American studies.
In September of 2020, Ashley and Hermon Malone were married and two hearts became one.
Ashley dedicated numerous years of her life to service working with Estates Information Services where she shined brightly as one of their top performers.
Ashley was an extremely compassionate and caring person. She loved her family and friends deeply. She birthed one beautiful baby girl, Aniyah Campbell, on December 31, 2006, whom she cherished, loved and respected with her whole heart.
Ashley Nicole Anderson Malone departed this life on March 17, 2025. She leaves to cherish her precious memories a loving and devoted mother, Mary M. Smith; father, Anthony C. (Annette) Anderson; a devoted husband, Hermon Malone; daughters, Aniyah Campbell, Myree Malone and Sanai Malone; grandson Jamiri Bryant; siblings Mark A. Durr (Alijah), Jessica S. (Kerry) Frazier (Tiyanna and Skye), Keisha Agee, Shawanda Taylor, Pamela Grantham and Daesha (Robert) Lister; aunts Rosemary McBride, Nancy Lee Harper, Lelia (David) Williams, Diane (Johnny) Hobbs, Patricia Durr, and Doris Durr; uncles Dareal Durr and Anthony (Glenda) Durr; special cousins Keysa Williams and Jamica Durr; in-laws, Herman (Harriett) Malone, Shray (James) Taylor, Jarrett (Tomesha) Malone, and a host of additional aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Endearing memories will be held by the close bonds she held with Ms. Angie, Antonio and Asha.
Ashley’s circle of family extended beyond blood ties to include her dear friends Erica, Christine, Keisha and very special friends Melanie and Aunt Terri; and a very special acknowledgement of her “4 legged son”, Lincoln.
Ashley is preceded in death by her grandfather Ralph C. Durr; mother-in-law Teresa Ann Malone; grand mother-in-law Hattie L. Malone; aunts Verma C. Durr and Cynthia Durr; uncles Robert Earl Durr and Donnie Durr.
Ashley never met a stranger, she was a shining example of love, grace and resilience. She was a great and compassionate listener who exhibited an infectious spirit. May she rest in peace knowing that her love lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
