Barbara J. Davidson

Barbara Jean Davidson was born December 4, 1944 , in Columbus, Ohio to Mary Johnson (Hale). On November 23, 2019, Barbara was called home to Christ. She was the eldest of 9 siblings who she loved and adored very much.

At an early age Barbara gave her life to Christ. Soon after she entered the workforce, loaning her love, time and talents to Riverside Methodist hospital as a patient transport.
In 1991, she opened her in-home Daycare Center, perfectly named “Ginger Snaps”. There she enjoyed teaching the children to read and write, also sharing her love of arts and crafts.

Barbara loved spending her free time finding new projects at Goodwill Columbus, hosting family gatherings or listening to Jazz music. But most of all she loved teaching her grandchildren to garden.

Left to cherish her memory are, daughters, Ronnett Johnson, Trina Johnson and Nuroma Maddix; son , Romero Johnson; grandchildren , James Johnson’ Tamara Johnson, Alonzo Moody, Jarell Mills, Anthony Denizard, Sharmita Mills, Keyouna Denizard, Kirsten Moody, Shadija Thomas, Tylin Johnson and Teanna Johnson; brothers, Howard (Martha) Johnson, Devonne (Kimberly) Johnson; sisters, Evonne Hale, Patricia Hale, Peggy Hale, Terry Hale, Carmen (Jerome) Hale-Walls as well as a host of great-grandchildren , relatives and friends.
