Barbara Jean Ann Mcgowan

Barbara Jean Ann McGowan “BJ”, age 58.

Sunrise January 7, 1957 in Pachuta, Mississippi and Sunset January 4, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.

Barbara, “BJ”, became a member of Come As You Are Ministries on August 21, 2011 and was baptized December 4, 2011. She completed new members’ classes February 15, 2012. She was a faithful member of Come As You Are and dearly loved her pastor and congregation.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lethia Mary McGowan Smith and David Charles Smith.

Left to cherish her memory, son Chee Chee M.  (Tionna) McGowan, grandchildren Kahlil Dickerson, Jazmine Newsome, (Blue McGowan), special great aunt Louise Jones and a host of other family and friends.

Barbara will be forever missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be especially missed by those who had the pleasure of loving her, and being loved by her.
