Barbara J. Pankey, age 61. Sunrise August 2, 1961 and Sunset April 5, 2023.
Barbara J. Pankey lived a life rooted in faith, love, family, friendship, hope, and laughter, reflected in her constant
smile. She was fulfilled by making others happy, which she demonstrated through extending good deeds abundantly. She would help anyone in need the best she could, even if it meant she had to go without. That was Barbara J, a heart of pure gold. Barbara J will be missed not because of what she said, but how she made others feel.
Barbara J was the eldest daughter and proud homemaker, instilling into her four children, grandchildren, and
others, good morals, values, charity, and character that she taught through being an example. She was intelligent,
artistic, creative, and full of wisdom. Barbara J enjoyed arts and crafts and do-it-yourself projects. Her favorite room
was the kitchen, where she loved to cook, bake, and whip together her glazes, sauces, and recipes.
She adored the milestones of her children and grandchildren and life celebrations with family and friends. Barbara J will be remembered and missed always. Barbara J began her journey with God through fellowship and friendships at community churches and made the Lord Jesus Christ’s Church her church home. Through fellowship, she guided others to seek their relationship with God. If you ask anyone to describe Barbara, they would say she was a good woman. She had built-in characteristics of a virtuous woman, worth far more than rubies (Proverbs 31).
