Bernadette L. Martin was born on May 15th, 1965, in Warren, Ohio. She was the daughter of Howard and Eyvonne Martin. She received her formal education from The Columbus Public School System. Being a fun-loving person, Bernadette always made Everybody laugh.
Bernadette Loved her family and friends, and never missed an opportunity to be around any of them. Affectionately known as Mom, Lady Bug, Nana, Big Sis, Bernie, Nette, Jo Jo, Sissy, and Aunt B, there was countless names that she went By and each one of them was special.
She worked various jobs throughout her life from The City of Columbus to Lifecare Alliance, and over 10 Plus years with Cota Mainstream. A Job with which she truly enjoyed Transporting others to medical appointments and various other destinations.
Bernadette was a Member of New Birth Christian Ministries and loved receiving the Lords Word. She was also a Lifetime Member of The VFW Post # 3764 Women’s Auxiliary.
As stated before, She Loved her family and friends, but her True Love has always been Sasha, Rashad and her Grands Arianna, Aniya and Josiah. Recently she added her Fur Baby Bella, whom she had to be around all the time. She had a host of activities that she loved, Traveling, cooking, shopping, dancing, and loved the family cookouts and holidays. Bernadette was also an avid sports fan, who loved her Pittsburgh Steelers and Michigan Wolverines. “GO BLUE.”
She is preceded in death by her grandson Rashad Martin, Grandparents Christine and Cicero Knox, Howard and Juanita Martin Sr., Dad Donald H Neal and sister Kathleen Wilson.
Loving memories will be cherished and kept alive by her Mother Eyvonne Martin of Columbus, Ohio and Father Howard Martin Jr of Kalamazoo, Michigan.

God Daughter Tyanna; Special friends, Jerri, Judy, Angie, Pat, Nicole and Charles. Sissy’s Ethel and Mozell a long list of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews other relative and friends.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, September 8, 2023 at New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refugee Rd.
Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
