Bernard Smith

Bernard Smith was born March 13, 1930 in Montgomery, Alabama to Milton and Berta Lee Smith. He received early childhood education in Montogomery, Alabama. He met and married Evelyn Young in 1954.

Bernard worked as a Truck Driver and as a Metal Finisher with Franklin Aluminum.

Bernard is preceded in death by his parents, two sons Richard Lester and Michael Bernard Smith and two brothers Roosevelt and Fletcher Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of over 60 years, Evelyn Smith, daughters Pam (Rev. Charles) Becknell, Deborah Smith, Theresa Smith, and Sharon D. Smith, sons Alex (Queon) Smith, Bruce Smith, Gary (Tamara A.) Jones, Bo Smith, Jason Smith, Randy Smith and Michael Smith, 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
