Billy Hook

Billy R. Hook, 45 years of age, passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2024 at 11:43pm from undiagnosed cardiovascular health issues. 

Billy was born on August 20, 1978 to parents, Robert Jr. and Constance Hook in Columbus, Ohio. After Billy graduated from Eastmoor High School, he began his employment with Patton Wall Covering and CEVA Logistics as a Forklift Operator. Later on, he obtained his Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and retired from Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) in 2019.  

Billy routinely exercised. He enjoyed watching basketball and football. His favorite teams were Ohio State, Oklahoma City Thunder and the Pittsburgh Steelers.  

Billy was preceded in death by grandparents, Bertha and Harry Waters; aunts, Brenda and Sheila Waters; uncle, Benjamin Waters; nephews, Rossco McClanahan and Perniel Hook; best friends, Jason Saulsbury and Courtney Potter.

 Billy leaves behind his loving wife, Bari Hook; daughters, Deja and Lametria; parents, Constance and Robert Hook Jr.; sisters, Stacy (Aleezar) Novena, Jeannie, Lousia, Constance (Wilmer), Laura, Angela, Hope, and Rosette; brothers, Ronnie, Percy (Danielle), Bertram and Robert (Audie). 

Billy was a humorous, loveable, kind, respectful, and trustworthy husband, father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend. We will love and miss you always.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, July 5, 2024 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
