Bryon R. Miller

Bryon R. Miller 62, of Columbus, Ohio departed this life and transitioned into eternal life on Sunday, June 20, 2021 in Ohio State East Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 24, 1958 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late Robert and Maxine Miller and late Roger (Jonie) Collins Sr.

 

Bryon graduated from Springfield South High School and served in the United States Army. He was a devoted loving father and grandfather. He loved his entire family deeply. Bryon was always the life of the party and never met a stranger. His favorite teams were the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Browns. Bryon enjoyed life and people very much. All who knew him, could not help but to love him.

 

Bryon’s life will be forever cherished in the lives of his wife, Connie Z. Miller; his children, Chad R. Miller, and Ceaira C. Miller all of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Chester “Corky” (Sharon) Cole Jr., of Columbus, Ohio, Roger Collins Jr. of Illinois and Omar Collins of Xenia, Ohio; sisters, Lucritia Kemp, Kendall (Chester Jr. “Chuck”) Mabra, Jowanna (Melvin Sr.) Belle all of Springfield, Ohio and Brittany Collins of Xenia, Ohio; precious granddaughters Ivi and Iris Miller; precious grandson, Noah Miller all of Columbus, Ohio; mother-In-Law, Mary Sue Davis of Ocala, FL; brother-in-law, Donny (Cindy) Hall of Grove City, Ohio; sister-in-law, Donna (Rafael) Pillot of Ocala, FL; aunts, Eunice Carter, Joyce (Larry) Wilson of Springfield, Ohio; and a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and relatives.

 

He was preceded in death by a son, Chase R. Miller; parents, Robert and Maxine Miller; father, Roger Collins Sr.; maternal grandparents, Otis and Beatrice Owens; paternal grandparents, Willie Lee Phelps and Frank Collins; great-nephew, Amare “The Champion” Smith, and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Visitation 5:00 PM and Funeral 6:00 PM Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Greater Grace Temple 380 W. Leffel Ln 45506. Interment at Ferncliff Cemetery Friday, July 2, 2021 10 AM. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
