Carlos Garner

Carlos Rodriguez Garner, age 36, was born on June 30,1985 to Collette Garner and Curtis Gates in Columbus, Ohio. He went home to be with the Lord on October 20, 2021.

Carlos was a warm-hearted serious man that loved his family and friends very much, especially his two children, Loveah and Carlos Jr. He was an entrepreneur and recently launched his own clothing line Cut2DaBone.

Carlos was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Carrie O. Garner; grandfather L.C. Gates; uncle, LaValle Garner; brothers, Cezaray Garner and Curtis Martin; and cousins, William Pierre Garner, Garthene “Sherre” Council, and Sade Carrie Garner.

Carlos is survived by his loving mother, Collette Garner of Columbus, OH; father, Curtis Gates; siblings, Curtis (Shaneata) Garner, Tony Rhodes, Curtis Johnson, Lamar Thomas, Lewis Sherod, Schrenetta Hill, Denise Lanier, Timika Farmer, Nakia Farmer, and Alethea (Eric) Chenault; children, Loveah Holt and Carlos R. Garner Jr.; great aunt, Ollie Bell Milliner of Dayton, OH; uncle, Andre (Frankie Lynn) Garner; aunt, Alyce Fay Garner of Atlanta GA; uncles, William Pierre Garner and Stephen Garner of Columbus, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Carlos will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Monday, November 1, 2021 at The Valley Dale Ballroom, 1590 Sunbury Road.

Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
