Carlyle King

Carlyle King, 59, passed away Sunday, May 29th at home, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on July 23rd in Columbus, Ohio and attended Beechcroft High School.

Carlyle is preceded in death by his father, Bert King; stepfather, Arthur Edwards; maternal grandmother, Emelda Dunbar; great-grandmother, Louise Davis; paternal grandmother, Virginia King; paternal grandfather, Clyde Edward King, Sr.; uncle, Clyde King, Jr; and aunt, Lee Esther Donnell.

He is survived by mother, Rosia Edwards-Lane; sisters, Artra Edwards and Nayauna Culbreath; children, Laquan Smith, Carlyle King (Baby Carl), Jerron King; grandchildren; special friends, Tina Allen, Paul , Gary Ford, Ellis and Rocky, and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation 9:00 AM and Funeral Service 10:00 AM Saturday, June 11, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.). Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
