Carolyn A. Colson Roddy, age 79. Sunrise May 29, 1936 and Sunset September 1, 2015. Carolyn worked at The State of Ohio Attorney Generals Office, U.S. Postal Service and Columbus Weatherhead. She was a member of Apostolic Faith Temple where she served as a Trustee, Usher, Sunday School Secretary, Building Fund Promoter and Coordinator of the church calendar. She was known as The Southfield Mom and was a member of Marion Franklin Civic Association. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Beulah M. Williams Colson, husband Ernest Roddy Sr. and brother Gary Colson. Left to cherish her memory, children Kim Roddy, Ernest Norman “Rocky” (Vivian) Roddy Jr., Joy (Terry) Cornett, Eric Roddy, Dina Roddy, Carl Monty (Christine) Roddy, William Seward and Todd A. (Monikia) Roddy, stepmother Marian Colson, special sister Marta J. (Bishop Nathaniel) Jordan, brothers in law Vernon (Betty Jo) Roddy and Kenneth (Elaine) Roddy, sister in law Jackie Colson, special friends Susie Kemp and Alice Young, 25 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation 6-9pm Friday September 11, 2015 and 9:00am until start of service at 9:30am Saturday September 12, 2015 at New Birth Christian Ministries 3475 Refugee Rd.
