Cedric Charles

Cedric Lamont Charles passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, January 27, 2017.

Cedric was born on September 25, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to Otto and Josephine Griffith Charles. He graduated from North High School. He was a longtime participant in The National Church Residences Senior Citizens Center.

Cedric is preceded in death by his parents. His is survived by his brother, Otto Nick Charles, Jr.; first cousin and legal guardian Charlotte Goins Carter; special aunt, Ora C. Westmoreland; sister in law, Gerda Charles; special nephews, Michael Heiko and Schascha Charles and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Asbury United Methodist Church 1586 Clifton Ave. Family will receive friends at 10:00am until time of service. Arrangements entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave. Interment at Union Cemetery.
