Charles, also known as Charlie and Martez, was deeply loved by all and cherished every individual relationship he had, especially his unconditional relationship with his grandfather and confidant, Robert K. Charles’ greatest love was God and he accepted Christ as his personal savior as a young boy. Family was everything to Charles; he embraced all family time with tons of love and laughter. He was a funny guy who adored seeing everyone around him having a good time.
Charles graduated from Westerville North High School in 2007. With a passion for music from a young age, Charles began an entertainment career and founded a label called GQ City Records in 2004 with his cousin, De’Ron Thomas, and friend, Rolando Lopez. He then became known as Charles Lucasze.
Charles’ music career gave him various levels of experience and exposed him to writing, performing, traveling and meeting a variety of entertainers in the Hip Hop industry such as his mentor, The Legendary Mix Master Ice ,who taught and worked with him from the beginning, and Compton Menace of #MHG Money Hogs. Compton Menace introduced Charles to the BlackWall Street record label of businessman, actor and rapper, The Game. After meeting The Game, Charles became an Ohio Representative for BlackWall Street. Charles met Jason Gold of Trend Settah/Splitarillos, manager of Compton Menace, and was soon employed with Trend Settah as the Sales Distributor for the State of Ohio. Most recently, Charles was scheduled to tour with Compton Menace in 2015.
Charles was preceded in death by his son, Armani Martez Thomas, his father, Rodriccos A. Williams Sr. and his little brother, Jordan Townsend.

We in turn cherish him and will find comfort in all our past memories shared with Charles.
2 Timothy 4:6-8
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteousness judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
