Cheryl Ann “Sissy” Crafter

Cheryl Ann Crafter, 68. Born on June 9, 1944 went home to be with the Lord February 15, 2013. Cheryl employment consisted of factory work at Drackett and Home Caregiver. She was a former member of Greater First Baptist Church and currently attended Restored Life Ministries. She loved the Lord and loved to sing. Cheryl accepted God’s calling to sing and direct Choirs by helping and working with various community neighboring churches. Cheryl’s passion was music. She directed choirs at Phillips Chapel and Greater First Baptist and she sang with the Yettes, K.A. Singers, and The Infamatus Choir. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Jesse James and Sarah Thompson, daughter Allegra Crafter, nephews Clifford and Edward Piersoll. Left to cherish her memory, son Eugene (Stephanie West) Crafter, Jr., daughters Yolanda L. Thompson and Yowanna (Robert) West, sisters Betty Piersoll and Pamela Chilton, former spouse Eugene Crafter, Sr., special friend George Garrison, son-in-law Norris Walker, 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
