Cheryl “Sherrie” Lynn Flowers

Cheryl Lynn Flowers was born to Mildred Marie Flowers and John Long on January 8, 1964. Surrounded by family she went home to be with the Lord on September 11, 2018.

Sherrie was born in Columbus, Ohio and attended Linden High School. Sherrie held a variety of positions throughout her life, but her most valued position was that of Aunt to her host of nieces, nephews and surrogate family. Sherrie didn’t know anyone she didn’t count as a friend and was always seeking to help those in need. Sherrie didn’t share in traditional designations of accomplishment, but excelled in those that really mattered, loving her family and supporting them in the ways that she was able. She prided herself in the investments she was able to make in others to assist in achieving goals that were important to them. Sherrie was a source of comfort and support to many. Sherrie lived and loved on her terms and fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sherrie was resolute in her extremely strong faith in GOD, ultimately she decided to entrust her life to HIS will. Sherrie now resides in the house of GOD with her loving family members and friends that have gone before her.
