Clarence Edward Towns

Clarence Edward Towns, age 53, passed away on June 4, 2018. Clarence was born on April 23, 1965 in Columbus, OH to Cleveland Towns, Sr and Cora Towns. Clarence attended Columbus City Schools and graduated from Marion Franklin High School.

Clarence married the love of his life Tonya Towns of Reynoldsburg, Ohio on November 8, 2012 in Columbus, Ohio. Clarence was an avid skater and loved playing the Play Station 4. He was employed at The Ohio State University until his passing.

Clarence is preceded in death by his father, Cleveland Towns, Sr.; and mother, Cora Towns.

Clarence is survived by his loving wife, Tonya Towns; sisters, Dolisa Hillmon, Deborah (Marlon) Mosley, Tieshica Towns, and Tisha Jones; brothers, Cleveland Towns, Claude (Coretta) Towns, Clevis (Rolena) Murphy-Towns, Theodore Towns, and Jeffrey Jones; children, Clarence Jr. (Tacara), Shekia (Mike), Stephen (Laquisha), Quita (Jeremiah), and Keisha (Paul); ten grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Clarence will be sincerely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies, 870 St. Clair Ave.

Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
