Clarence Douglas Williams, age 57. Sunrise, June 21, 1959 in Welch, West Virginia and Sunset, June 5, 2017 in Madison, Alabama.
A member of Laborers’ Local 423 of North America and served his country in the United States Army. He was a master welder for 26 years and worked throughout the United States and in Germany.
Preceded in death by his father, Zack Williams; his daughter Brandi Sheri Williams; one sister; and four brothers.
Left to cherish his memory his mother, Lillie Mary Neal; daughter Tia Merel Williams-Hayes (Christopher T. Hayes) step-daughter Deborah Rippey; grandchildren, Alamonte Williams-Jeter, Christopher Hayes II, Donte Rippey Young and O’Sheaynna Rippey-White; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Theoples W. Martin, Michael L. (Rolanda) Williams, Anthony K. (Daniela) Williams, Kenneth R. (Konstantinos Papadakis) Williams, James D. Williams; sisters, Ramona Boston, Cheryl P. Williams, Juanita Williams-Smith and Delores M. (Jeffrey Blair) Williams-Blair. He also had many nieces, nephews and cousins. His extended family was large and loving along with a host of lifelong friends.
Visitation 10:00 a.m. Funeral 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2017 at Trinity Baptist, 461 St. Clair Avenue.
Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
