Clyde A. Baylor, 68, went home on October 1, 2010 to be with his Savior. Clyde was born on November 24, 1941 to Raymond and Carrie Baylor in Coal Wood, West Virginia. Clyde was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, member of Faith Ministries where he served in the Males Chorus and he retired from Ryder Truck Rental on January 1, 1997 after 24 years of service. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Oscar and Janie Gwynn, father Raymond Baylor, brothers Larry and Harold Baylor and sister Mari Ann Baylor. Left to cherish his memory, loving wife Shirley Blackwell Baylor, children Trina Baylor (Terry) Manning and Karen Baylor(David Sr.) Giddens, grandchildren Ebony Giddens, David Giddens Jr., Bryce Manning, Jade Manning and Grace Manning, mother Carrie Baylor, sisters Vivian (Roy) Blackwell, Gwendolyn (Benjamin Holloway) Baylor, Phyllis Day, Lavina Taylor and Barbara Wooten, brothers Oscar (Beverly) Baylor and Marvin (Jackie) Baylor and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
