Cynthia Bailey, who loved to be called momma by her kids, departed from her loving family on April 22, 2021.Cynthia was born in Dayton Ohio on October 15, 1961.She was the baby of 5 children born to Barbara Jean Bailey.

Cynthia is survived by her five children, Antwone Devoise, Sherita Devoise, Carlos, Bailey, Kelly Armstrong, and Storm Patterson; grandchildren, Allonia Devoise, Ariana Devoise, Deamar Devoise, Derron Devoise, Jerimiah Bailey, Carlos Bailey Jr., Marrieonna Clark, Marquis Clark Jr., Marrlayah Clark, Markael Clark, Liberty Patterson, and Storm Patterson Jr; and a host of cousins and friends.

Momma would awake every holiday early and play her favorite Christmas songs while she prepared her famous meals for the family. Christmas was her favorite time of the year where she would play silent night by the temptations on repeat.

Momma came to Columbus for a new start for her children. She provided everything she could and even things she could not always sacrificing for the good of her family. Never one to hold a grudge or judge momma was easy to talk to and always knew how to make you smile.

Cynthia adored her grandchildren she would play and sing songs with them all day. Her favorite things to do was read her bible every morning. Her favorite saying was ‘’I got this!’’ always strong, mighty, and larger than life itself. Cynthia had a great heart she loved her kids and grandkids better than she loved herself…she was adored by many her reputation exceeding her.

May almighty give rest & peace to the departed soul.
