Daniel Sears

Daniel Oliver Sears, husband to Dr. Samantha Michelle Sears, father of Kennedy Olivia-Rose Sears (10) and Evanston Oliver-Rhodes Sears (8 mos), son of the late Charlene Dionne Sears, grandson of Charles Walter Sears and the late Katherine Conley Sears, and nephew to Walter and Oliver Sears perished on Thursday, May 25, 2023.

Daniel is also a beloved cousin to many and a grand-nephew. He will be interred at Wesley Chapel Cemetery near his mother and grandmother. Daniel was a graduate of Thomas Worthington high school and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Beyond his dedication to the orange and white (UT), Daniel was a loyal member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. His heart beat true for the purple and gold. He was trained in logistics and materials management and had forged a successful career in that regard working for several fortune 500 companies.

Daniel loved being a husband and father, and counted helping the family make it through Samantha’s medical school and residency as a major accomplishment. He could light up a room with his smile, which was never broader than when he was with his children. Finally, Daniel was a man of God, whose hope and trust in Christ fueled his faith in his eternal salvation. We know that he and his dear mom and grandma are together again in heaven’s embrace.
