ALEXANDER,
David Alexander, age 51, devoted and beloved son, brother, fiancé, uncle, nephew, cousin, and trusted friend, was summoned into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday morning, February 9, 2015.
David Alexander was born on November 19, 1963 in Columbus, Ohio. He was the second oldest of five children born to Carolyn Alexander Williams. David was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and obtained his education through the Columbus Public School System. From an early age, David was raised in the church. In his youth, he faithfully attended Pool of Bethesda Church of the Living God where he learned about the wondrous love of God, accepted Christ into his life, and was baptized. David was a current member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, but he also enjoyed the worship services at Holy Ghost Revival Church as well. He visited there often, as he loved to fellowship with his mother.
Though physical ailments prevented David from working long term, when he felt physically able he was always hard at work helping others. No matter what the task, David was always willing to lend a helping hand. David had a magnetic and vibrant personality, and he never met a stranger. Anyone that knew him could tell you that he was always the “life of the party.” David would always find a funny story to tell that would have everyone laughing to tears! He had a smile that would light up any room, and a laugh that was contagious to all. David often had an encouraging word, would offer a listening ear or his shoulder to lean on. David was truly adored and loved very dearly. He will be greatly missed.
