Debbie Harris

Debbie Harris was born on January 26, 1979 to Eugene Johnson and Glynis Pass.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Pass, Grandmother, Willie Mae Pass, aunt Linda Johnson, and Godfather Steve Rodwell.

Debbie loved to visit the Original Glorious Church with her aunt Linda in her youth. She gave her life to Christ as a teenager at Mount Calvary where she sang in the choir and was a member for years. She developed life long friendships with her church family.

Debbie Harris Graduated from Groveport-Madison high school in 1997. She went on to receive an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Franklin University in 2007. Debbie thought she was done with school when one of her church members encouraged her to continue school. She then went on to complete her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Franklin University within the same year. Debbie did not stop there, she went on to receive her Masters in Organizational Management at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

On July 12, 2008 she married her soul mate Gregory Harris From their union she conceived two beautiful sons, Kaleb and Isaiah. Her angels here on earth. Debbie and her family joined Strong Point Church under the Leadership of Pastor Lonnie Keene. She taught Sunday school and ministered the word occasionally during service. She will be remembered by her Strong Point church family for her smile, down to earth voice and chuckle, as she brought her point across, and said “See the thing is”.

Debbie Harris was a true perfectionist. She gave herself fully and completely, she did not believe in half stepping. Debbie was passionate about Christ, her husband, sons, her family, business, and helping others overcome adversities and find their purpose In 2016 she started a coaching business called Entrepreneur Business Enterprise. Debbie Harris was

driven she started several businesses and had many ideas and dreams. Debbie received her insurance License in 2020 and went on to open her own Insurance Company. Debbie was passionate about her literary work. In 2019 she received the International Poetry Merit Award. Her Published written work: titles are, Jonah Bible Study, Becoming Unmasked, The Lies She Believed Mind Your Money and Don't Waste Another Day. Debbie also created courses & workbooks: titled, Mind Your Money, Business Starter Bootcamp, and a Podcast called Hot Pursuit.

She Believed in giving back to the community. Debbie teamed up with David Holt and Felicia Cauley and organized a coat drive for the less fortunate through her own business group called Good Wise. She also help the community with job readiness programs by helping others build their resumes. Debbie Harris departed this life on February 9, and went home to be with the Lord.

She leaves to mourn her loving husband Gregory Harris, her two miracle sons Kaleb Ezekiel Harris, Isaiah Emanuel Harris, her Parents Eugene Johnson, mother Glynis Pass, mother n-law Gail Harris, her God mother Hazel Rodwell, sister Laquetis Pass, God sister Chiconna Archie, aunts uncles, and host of cousins and friends.

Visitation 9:30 AM and Funeral Service 10:30 AM Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Strongpoint Church, 392 Maplewood Ave. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. LIVINGSTON AVE.
