Debra Ann Mcmillan

Debra Ann McMillan, beloved mother, grandmother, educator, and friend, passed away on June 5, 2023, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Born on August 25, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio, Debra was the daughter of Frank Green and Mozella Martin. She was a graduate of Eastmoor High School, Class of 1979, and dedicated her life to the field of education, serving as an educator at Mosica School.

Debra had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies and interests. She had a passion for shopping, especially for clothes and shoes, and she always took pleasure in finding the perfect outfit. Another of her favorite pastimes was going to the movies, with the film “Life” holding a special place in her heart. She often quoted her favorite line from the movie, saying, “We on deck.” Debra also had a deep affection for Transformers, particularly Optimus Prime, and cherished the excitement and adventure they brought into her life.

A generous and caring soul, Debra loved giving and sharing with her family and friends. She found joy in bringing smiles to their faces and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her love for Hip Hop music was evident, and she held a special place in her heart for the artistry of Lil Wayne.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Green and Mozella Martin, her beloved husband, Marcus A. McMillan Sr., her sister, Pam Martin, and her cousin, Natalie Porter. While her absence is deeply felt, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Marcus A. (Amanda) McMillan Jr. and Marlon A. McMillan, who were a constant source of pride and joy in her life. She adored her grandchildren, Marcus A. McMillan III and Ayana McMillan, and her love for them knew no bounds. Debra’s BESTEST FRIEND FOREVER, Ruby A. Radcliff, shared a deep and enduring friendship that brought immeasurable happiness and support to both their lives. She also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Evadean Davis, and a host of other beloved family members and friends who will forever hold her dear.
