Anyone who had the chance to meet Delvon, without a doubt met an unforgettable love spirit. Delvon was always willing to listen, learn, help and most importantly offer safe, non-judgemental support and love. He would offer to anyone in need, a true friend indeed.
Delvon enjoyed the outdoors, playing basketball, music, shopping, hanging out and video games. His most favorite times were in his room spending time with his siblings, cousins and friends.
Delvon volunteered with Sonya’s Cancer Caregivers Center, Gospel Lighthouse Church, and also helped with many back to school events as well as serving meals to the homeless an avidly contributed to digital and gaming creation. He was also extremely gifted in his landscaping business. He was excited about his pending employment as an Appliance Technician.
Delvon Kencaid Wilkerson Jr. was called from labor to rest. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Pendergrass; grandmother, Janice Hale; great grandmothers, Deborah King (Big Mama), Thelma Pendergrass, Ethel Edwards; great grandfather, Donald Edwards; uncles, Kendrick D. Wilkerson, also known as his most definitely favorite uncle “Moo Moo”, Sir (Billy) Williams Tims, Jeffery Thomas; aunts, Santia Edwards, Ashley Mitchell, Big D, Kendra Ayers; cousins, Dontey Wiley, Ervenna Broomfield, Breya Hammonds, Anasia Green, Chandale “Mugzy” Miller; special friend, Dean (Dino) Owens.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Kimberley Key Taylor and Delvon Kencaid Sr.; sisters, Jahnyah Gussler, Jaelynn Taylor, Jaeya Taylor, Dominique “DJ” Taylor; brothers, Daxton Taylor, Dacori Taylor; grandmothers, Geraldine Taylor, Linnie Edwards “Mom Mom”, Kenya Storey; grandfathers, Harvey Hale, Kenneth Wilkerson Sr., Popo Lavohn Storey; devoted aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, CJ Ayers, Don Don Anderson, Randi Thomas, Marie, Tristian, John Gussler, Linwood Turner, Marquis Anderson, Denzel Williams, Nasir, Twyon, Zion Parks, Isaiah Adams; Godmothers, Jessica (Gelka) Anderson, Sherrika (Godmommy) Edwards, Matilda (Godmom) Moussa and a host of uncles, cousins and friends
