Diana Godfrey

In Loving Memory of our Beloved Diana Godfrey

Diana was born on September 12, 1950, and departed this life on September 18, 2024, at Mt. Carmel East in Columbus, Ohio. 

Diana graduated from Meigs High School in Meigs County, Ohio. Diana was a devoted worker for many years with DFAS where she also retired. In her retirement, Diana spent a lot of time tending to her flowers in the yard, cutting the grass, taking long walks in the park, and loving on her pets. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and going to the casinos and fishing. She also enjoyed attending the outdoor concerts with her husband and family. Diana’s favorite shows to watch were Let’s Make a Deal, The Price Is Right and football. 

Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Willard, and Wilda Brogan (Greene); siblings, Janet Haley, Jimmy Brogan, Jerry Brogan, Joseph Brogan, Steve Brogan, Joyce Brogan, Linda Brogan, and Barry Brogan.; father and mother-in-law, Archie and Geneva Godfrey; sister-in-law, Bonnie Godfrey; brother-in-law, Larry Godfrey.

Diana is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Rickey Godfrey; sisters, Joan (Frank) Goff, Judy Collier; and brothers, Mark (Barbara) Brogan, Donald (Eline) King, Johnny Brogan, and Lawrence Brogan; in-laws, Marguerite Cobb, Alonzo Godfrey, Avery (Yvonne) Godfrey, Arthur Godfrey, Myronia King, Pam Godfrey, Nancy Godfrey, and Jackie Hilton; special friend, Melody Powell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
