Dolly B. Smith, 71. Sunrise September 1, 1939 – Sunset May 18, 2011. Dolly was born in Buchtel, Ohio to the late June Lee (Northcutt) and Ralph L. Blackwell Sr. She was raised in Rendville Ohio by her grandmother Alice Wilkes White, and had been a resident of Columbus, Ohio for the past 56 years. She was a former member of New Salem Baptist Church and retiree of Riverside Hospital. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John N. Smith, brother Ralph L. Blackwell Jr, and step daughter Bonita Smith. Left to cherish her memory, sons Harlin (Kris) and Brian G. (Vicki) Goins, daughter Sheryl (Craig) Portman, stepson Johnny Smith; 5 siblings Carolyn (William) Huff, Charlotte Blackwell, Lois Lowery, James Blackwell, Sue (Sterivan) Ellis; step mother Virginia Blackwell; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother-in law Ron (Jill) Cavell, life long best friend Janis Hull, and a host of other family and friends.
