Dorothy M. Young-Dailey

Dorothy M. Young Dailey, 67 went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday February 7, 2015 at The Ohio State University Medical Center East.

She was born March 6, 19477 in Tampa, Florida to the late Theodore Roosevelt Young Sr. and Hattie Byrd White.

Dorothy was affectionately known to all as “Dot”. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Dorothy was a very kind and giving person. Dorothy was always willing to help others even when she really didn’t have it to give. Dorothy enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed dancing. She was the life of every party. For those who truly knew Dorothy they loved and admired her and they knew that they were loved by her as well. Dorothy wouldn’t bite her tongue. She would tell you how she felt and how it was and how it was going to be. That’s something everyone who knew Dorothy admired and loved about her. Dorothy no matter what she was going through would always find a way to make you laugh and brighten your day.

Dorothy is also preceded in death by her husband Cleveland Dailey Sr., son Jerry Dailey, daughter Michelle Dailey, sister Marian Juanita Young Wingo, brother Theodore Roosevelt Jr. (Tim-Buddy) from Ocala, Florida.

Dorothy is survived by her children who will cherish her memory, Cleveland Dailey Jr., Tina, Donna, Larry, Demario Daily Sr. and Mary Beckham and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and host of friends.

Dot you will truly be missed by all, WE LOVE YOU!
