Earl J. Harris, 82. Sunrise July 2, 1929 in Bluefield, WV and Sunset August 16, 2012 in Columbus, OH. Earl was a member Grace Missionary Baptist Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and Army, and labored many years in construction and retired from Columbus City Schools. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Daisy Brown, children Margaret Ann, Albert and John Lee, sister Georgia Washington and Rose, grandsons Lamont Harris and Stanley Humphrey, III and niece Gail Joshua. Left to cherish his memory, wife Virginia Harris, sons Jack (Juanita) Hamler, and George, Don and Michael Harris, daughters Jayne (Ike) Freeman, Barbara (William) Hines, Betty (Stanley Jr.) Humphrey, Veronica (Tony) Hamler, Corenda Jordan and Melony Harris, sister Pansy Thurmond, 30 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
