Ebony K.T. Shakes , Born March 5, 1979 in Ozark Alabama.

Survived by parents Glen and Frances Shakes (Black).

Ebony was a graduate of Northland High School, after her transfer from Brookhaven High School.

Ebony leaves to cherish her memory with three beautiful girls Jayana R. Hartley, Jaliya R. Hartley, and Javaya R. Hartley. Sister Demetria (Anthony) Hammonds, and one brother Doral (Jamelle) Shakes, nephews Darrick Ferrell Jr., and Demetrius Hammonds, and a host of Aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Ebony worked as a home health aide for IBF here in Columbus, Ohio. Ebony found great joy in assisting her special needs clients. She was a loving and caring person who would try to do all she could to help others. Ebony enjoyed music, laughter, and having a good time. She was definitely the life of the parties.

Ebony will truly be missed but never forgotten.

Visitation 9:00 a.m. and Funeral 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 22, 2017 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
