Edmund Gerard Morgan, born on November 2, 1971, in Memphis, TN, passed away on August 17, 2024, in Port Richey, FL. Edmund's life was a testament to resilience and dedication, as he navigated through various joys and challenges each day brought. Growing up in Mansfield, Ohio, he completed his education in the local schools before courageously enlisting in the U.S. Navy, proudly serving his country for four years.
Edmund found his calling as a truck driver in Columbus, Ohio before moving to Florida, a job he approached with passion and skill. Beyond his professional pursuits, he was also a gifted artist, showcasing his creativity and talent in his spare time. His warm smile and gentle spirit endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Edmund was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Lee Morgan Sr.; uncle, Charles W. Clark; and brothers, Eddie Lee Morgan Jr. and Johnny Renzelle Morgan.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Emma G. Morgan; his sister, Valencia Evans; and his cherished children, Christopher Isiah Morgan and Brooklyn Morgan. Edmund also leaves behind a loving extended family of aunts, Annie R. Lester, Mary K. Harden, Ora M. Nixon, and Eva J. Liggins, Brenda Clark, Hattie Clark and Josephine Clark; uncles, L.C. Clark, Charles W. Curry and Linel Clark and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Edmund's memory will forever be treasured, and his legacy of kindness and perseverance will continue to inspire those who knew him. May he find eternal peace and may his family and loved ones be comforted during this difficult time of loss.
Visitation 8:30am and Funeral 9:30am Saturday August 31. 2024 at Shiloh Baptist Church 130 E. 2nd St. The burial service will be held at Mansfield Cemetery
