Elder Jessie Hairston, age 89. Born on March 23, 1925 in Martinsville, VA went to be with The Lord on September 3, 2014 in Columbus, OH. Elder Hairston was a Brick Mason and retired as a Building Inspector at The Ohio State University. He was founder and pastor of Holy Ghost Revival Center Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Hope Walker Hairston, wife Elder Dora Lee Hairston, brothers William, Harry, Moses and Sam Hairston, and sisters Mary Taylor and Betty Hairston. Left to cherish his memory, sons Allen (Mary) Hairston, and Anthony Genovese, daughters Ossie (Sidney) Thomas and Deborah Hairston, sister Virginia Allen , and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family and friends.
