Elijah Ray Broadus, age 71. Sunrise October 11, 1943 and Sunset August 27, 2015. Elijah was baptized at Church of Christ Brentnell Ave. and was formerly employed at Grant Medical Center, Buckeye Steel and Dave Boyer Cleaning Service. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. Elijah was preceded in death by his father Elijah Broadus, stepfather William Gann, sisters Ilene Shafeeq and Brenda Abdul Mateen, grandparents Suano and Fannie Sardeneta, uncle Leroy Sardeneta and mother and father in law Curtis and Vivian Jameson. Left to cherish his memory, wife of 52 years Norma J. Broadus, mother Marie Gann, sons Raymond A. (Lila R.) and Kevin P. Broadus, daughter Tina M. Broadus, brother William R. (Gloria) Gann, sister Darlene G. Russell, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of other family and friends. Visitation 6:00pm and Funeral 7:00pm Friday September 3, 2015 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave. Interment 10:00am Saturday at Evergreen Burial Park.
