Elizabeth "Babe" Martin, age 93. Sunrise November 21, 1920 in Charlotte, NC and Sunset September 18, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Babe was a former resident of Brooklyn, NY where she was the owner of Martins Corner Restaurant and a member of Concord Baptist Church. She joined the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Columbus under Pastor Hicks. She was preceded in death by her parents William Strong and Gaither Friday Strong, husbands Andrew Ferguson and Herbert Martin and brothers James Strong and Robert Strong. Left to cherish her memory, sons Harold A. Ferguson, William "Calvin" Ferguson and Bobbie Ferguson, special niece Marsha Jean (Marlon) Price and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
