Eloise White Cook entered into a peaceful eternal rest with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 7, 2013 at home, in the arms of her loving husband at the Ottawa Ridge Senior Home in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born March 11, 1938 to the union of Herman and Nonnie White in Rome, GA. One of nine children, they relocated to Columbus, Ohio in 1952. Eloise attended Central High School in Columbus, Ohio and was employed by Twin Valley Behavior Center where she was a faithful employee for 22 years until her time of retirement.
Eloise attended Bible Way Church of The Lord Jesus Christ where she was filled with the Holy Spirit and was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in the 1990’s.
She met and fell in love with Roland F. Cook Sr. and later became his wife on June 16, 2002.
Eloise was a loving caretaker to all those who crossed her pathway. You were touched by her love and kindness. She also loved to fish, travel, play cards with the ladies, cook and shop. She was a true woman of grace and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Eloise White Cook was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Nonnie White, one brother, five sisters, and best friend Claria King.
Eloise White Cook leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband Roland F. Cook Sr., brother Willay (Lucy) White, sister Eula King Martin and sister in law Frances White, special nephew Timothy King, Goddaughter Beverly (Khalil) Willis, grandson Kesod Cook, brothers in law Ivy (Torsia) Cook, Charles Pinkie, Robert (Lela) Cook and Delphiane Woods, sisters in law Virginia (James) Fuqua, Alice Bryant, Linda (Obie) hemphill, Patricia Williamson and Vicky (Theodore) Edwards and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
