Emma Jean Brown

Emma Jean Fuller Brown was born May 6, 1948 in Maybeury, West Virginia to the late Elwood Fuller and Emma McGhee Fuller. She went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 16, 2017 at Grant Hospital.

Emma Jean accepted Christ at an early age in Maybeury, West Virginia. She was a faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church for over 50years. Emma served in many ministries including, Church Clerk, Pastoral Search Committee 1972, Sunday Church School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, Hospitality Committee, and Ida Smith Guild Girls.

Emma Jean was employed by National City Bank, Crown Northcorp Inc as an Executive Administrator to Ronald Roark and retired from the Child Development Council as a Procurement Manager in 2016.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Elwood “Skip” Fuller, Jr., and father-in-law, Horace Brown Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Brown; step-daughter, Nicole Brown; step-son, Trabien Powell; mother-in-law, Louise G. Brown; sister-in-law’s, Lillie Dubenion Fuller and Angelia Brown; special sister, Faye Cooper; brother-in-law, Timothy Brown; special cousin, Paula Harrell; cousin, Alberteen Fuller Jones; nephew’s, Johnathan Elwood Fuller, Anthony J. Wilson Sr., and Horace Brown III; nieces, Carlotta Parrott, Melissa Fuller, Sequena Brown and Gidden Brown; god-daughter’s, Patricia Dawkins and Tiffany Malone; special friend, Annetta Eberhardt, and a host of relatives and friends.
