Erma Nekia Clary

Erma Nekia Clary was born Sunday, January 26, 1975 to Curtis L. Armour and Loreather D. Tellis in Detroit, Michigan. She departed this life on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Doctors West Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Erma affectionately known as Ms. Ne-Ne, enjoyed singing, dancing, exercising, making sure her attire was beautiful and perfectly accessorized & taking care of her grandchildren. She was all about family especially her 5 “K” boys. Erma was known for being direct and saying what was on her mind. She was also known for helping others. She would open her home to anyone that did not have a meal or a place to stay. She was fun and funny in there was rarely a dull moment in her presence. Preceded in death by son Kaewaun D. Coleman, Erma leaves several family members to cherish her memory: children Kascal, Kyrell, Kazion and Keontez; Stephen B. Stinson boyfriend; Curtis L. Armour Sr.  father; Loreather D. Tellis mother; sisters Winona D. Tellis, Tomecca (Damon) Russell; brother Curtis Jr. (Stephanie) Armour; nieces & nephews Kharisma, DeAngelo, Tremain, TaMarra, DeGloria, Damonjah, Gianni, Amarianna, Curtis III, Nariah and best friend Sereta Young, 13 grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles cousins & friends.

Visitation 1:30pm and Funeral 2:30pm Saturday June 18, 2016 at Bethel AME Church 2021 Cleveland Ave.  Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.
