Eugene Dwight Busby was born March 25th, 1968 in Columbus Ohio. He was 1 of 4 children born to Barbra Braswell, whom later married Willie Busby of Eutaw, Alabama. It was at that time that Eugene was adopted and given the Busby name before the family moved to Alabama. At an early age while in Alabama he accepted Christ as his lord and savior where he was a member of the youth choir at Zion Brush Creek Church. He attended school there in Alabama until the age of 16. Returning to Columbus Ohio as a high school student, he attended Brookhaven high school where he was very active in wresting and football. Class of “86”. After high school he worked for the Columbus Metro Park of Recreation serving the Windsor Terrace, Pontiac, Linden, and Milo Grogan areas where many knew him as “Buzz”. During this time he played semi-pro football with the battle-stars.

Eugene Dwight Busby joined and was accepted by his extended family as “LoKey” in the Heavy Metal Motorcycle Club, 4 Life. He remained a loyal and faithful member as he served many different roles of officers in the club. It was with the club that he gained his 1st set of wings and became a lifer.
Eugene Dwight Busby went on to further his education and received his degree in business administration at the Miami-Jacobs Career College. He then decided to start his own business E. &D. Building Maintenance and Floor Care Services, a business where he worked hard and was very proud of it. He continued his business as a side hustle until his death. He held down a few other jobs along the way, most recent being OCM (Ohio Custodial Maintenance).

Eugene Dwight Busby departed his early life on February 11th, 2019 at the age of 50. He preceded in death by his brother Charles Braswell, his Grandparents, and a host of aunt, uncles, cousins, and fallen club members.

He leaves to cherish his memories Daughter: Asha Smoots, Son: Dashawn Woods SR, Grandson: Dashawn Woods JR, Mother: Barbra Braswell Asante’, Father: Willie Busby, Brother: Bruce Busby (Sherri), Sisters: Tona Busby, Julia Edwards, Nieces: DeVonna Busby, Cristan Rowell, Nephews: Cortez Busby, Kijuan Busby, 3 Great Nieces and 5 Great Nephews, Uncles: Alfonso Miles, Richhard Braswell, (Dawn), Aunts: Audrey Wells (Arthur), Aselylean Brown, Godmother: Bernistine McDearmon, God brothers: Dawayne & Shuwn McDearmon, a host of aunts and cousins, Special Friends /Brothers Kenny “Black Magic” Poe & William “Doeboy” Roberts, Childhood Sweetheart: Michele Mobley, along with all of his club brothers and sisters of the Heavy Metal Motorcycle Club.

Eugene Dwight Busby will be sincerely missed by everyone he has come in contact with near and far. You have now gained your 2nd set of wings! Fly high my brother, until we meet again.
