Evelyn Barbara Draughon

Evelyn Barbara Draughon, age 66.  Sunrise April 13, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA and Sunset October 20, 2015 in Columbus, OH.  Evelyn was a graduate of Youngstown East High School and attended Youngstown State University where she was a member of the Girls Ensemble.  She was  a member of Gospel Tabernacle Church where she served as Chairman of the Deaconess Board, Head Cook, Pastors Administrative Assistant, and President of The Young Adult and Young Peoples Choir, The Marriage and Sick and Shut in Ministries.   Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Wolver and Eva Jane Cuff Harris.  Left to cherish her memory, husband of 45 years Jonathan W. Draughon Sr., son Jonathan W. (Nicole) Draughon Jr., daughter Felina L. (Richard) Williams, sister Gloria Marie (James) Burnette, grandchildren Alivia Eve-Marie Williams and Taylor Nicole Draughon, Goddaughter Genary (Melvin) Maxwell, Godson Terrance Dooley, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Visitation 6:00pm and 7:00pm Tribute Service Friday October 30, 2015 and Visitation 9:00am Visitation and 10:00am Home Going Service Saturday October 31, 2015 at First Church of God 3480 Refugee Rd.  Interment at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.  Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.
