Fannie Benton

Mrs. Fannie Pearl Benton was born in Chambers county, Alabama, October 22, 1933. She passed peacefully Tuesday November 15, 2016 at age 83. She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church in Lanett, Alabama. Fannie was a devoted mother and grandmother, a loyal friend with a wonderful sense of humor and kept us laughing. She loved cooking, listening to gospel music, and watching old TV shows. Steve Harvey family feud was her favorite. She married Willie Charles Benton, and from that union there were five children. Fannie was preceded in death by husband Willie C. Benton, parents Earnest Meadows and Dora Harrison, son Daniel C. Benton, daughters Sandra D. Benton and Gwendolyn F. Benton, brothers, Joseph Meadows Sr, Richard O. Harrison, and special uncle Tommy Sanders (Uncle Bo). She leaves to cherish her memory, sons Larry (Nadine) Benton, Archie (Wanda) Benton, brother; Wilson Meadows, Sister; Linda Meadows Montgomery, grandchildren Kendall (Brittany) Sealey, Archie D. Benton, Larry Benton Jr., Larrilyn Benton, And Daniel Benton. Seven great grandchildren; Kendle, Kiauna, Keon, Kyndle, Jaylen, Elijah and Makhai, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins to numerous to mention.
