Frank Peguese was born on June 19, 1941 in Moultrie, Georgia to London and Willie Mae Peguese. He was the eighth of nine children. He graduated from William Bryant High School in 1960. After high school, he went to Detroit, MI and later moved to Columbus, OH to be with his sister. Frank worked several jobs. Lazarus, Grant Hospital, Wyman Pump and he retired from Mount Carmel East Hospital where he never missed a day’s work in 25 years of service.
Frank attended Triedstone Missionary Baptist church for many years and joined in 1985.
Frank loved wearing hats and caps and over the years had collected many styles and he would still war them as if they were sill in style. (Smiles)
On June 1, 2013 Frank went Home to be with the Lord,. Those who preceded him in death are his parents, London and Willie Mae Peguese, his brothers Jesse, London Jr., and Louis Peguese, three sisters Rosie Mae Brown, Nora Lee Ruffin and Pearl Smith.
Those left to cherish his memories, are his beloved wife, Ella Jean Wesley Peguese, one daughter Dawna (Al) Kelly, two sisters Hattie Stamper and Doris Golden, six stepchildren Derrick Dunlap, Valarie Dunlap, Carla James, Kim James, Leah James, and Jason (Ariane) Moorer, ten step grandchildren, Patricia James, Precious Peasant, Brooke (Demetrius) White, Brittany (Brandon) Harris, Brea James, Brayla Owens, Cob Griniage, Natalia Johnson Randi Rice and Kamren Moorer, five step great grandchildren, and his favorite friend Jerry Perkins and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
