Freddie Mae McKillion, age 84, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024. She was born on March 31, 1940, in Aberdeen, Mississippi to the late Walter Lee and Beauty Carruthers. She is preceded in death by her very loving husband, Bobby Joe McKillion; and son Larry Sellers.
Freddie Mae will be deeply missed by her children, Barbara (John) Martin, Karen (Gerald) Aaron, Tony (Cynthia) Sellers, Henry Sellers, Clarence Sellers, Bobby Joe McKillion, and Curtis McKillion. She is also survived by her many grand and great grandchildren who she loved and care for dearly.
Freddie Mae accepted Christ in her life at an early age and was baptized at Bible Way Church in Columbus, Ohio under the leadership of Bishop William Latta where she was a member. Later she moved her membership to Higher Dimensions Ministry under the leadership of her son, Bishop Tony Sellers Sr. where she served as the mother of the church and worked in the Outreach Ministry.
Some of the things she loved to do was to go fishing! She also loved to cook for family and friends and spending quality time with all her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her loving children, family, and friends. Her smile, laugh nurturing hugs and motherly advice will never be forgotten.
