Frederick Dwight Orr

Frederick Dwight Orr was born December 28, 1989 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Fredrick Arnez Shephard and Melonie M Orr-Carr. He departed this life on June 11, 2022.

Frederick loved spending quality time with his family and very close friends. He was known to joke and make people laugh. In his younger years, he won awards playing chess and would love to challenge anyone, including his grandfather, the late Bishop Walter T Shephard. Also, in his younger years, Frederick was very athletic and had a passion for football and basketball. Playing in his “Little League” football games brought so much joy and excitement each time he would hit the field. He would love a thrill: roller coasters, fast cars, traveling and spending lots of money. A lover of nice things, you would always see him in the latest fashions. Frederick was such a giving person, he would always make a way to help anyone.

Everyone that had the honor and privilege to know Frederick knew that he had a deep love and passion for his children, family and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick Arnez Shephard and Melonie M. Orr-Carr as well as paternal grandparents, Walter and Geraldine Shephard.

He leaves to cherish his memory his grandparents, Dwight and Janice Orr; children, Tae’Shaun Lamont Orr (Jazlynn Wilson), Amiyah Keyes, Aniah Keyes, Nevaeh Keyes (Stephanie Keyes) and Cyntaya Zi’Elle Melonie Orr (Jhemyah Ross); siblings, Nyesha (Bart) Clayton, Terone (Zaida) Shephard, Mikael Orr, Ebony King, and Ericka Carr; Aunts/Uncles, Chavela (Douglas) Ware, Nikki (Byron) Poindexter, Janese Orr, Dwight L Orr Jr., Deviante Orr, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends and bonus sons and daughters.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, June 24, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
