Frederick Stanley Milner was born in Columbus, Ohio to Charles Sr. and Kathleen Milner. He was welcomed by older brothers, Charles Milner, Jr., Paul Milner, and older sister, Mary Milner. The family later welcomed Ronald Milner.

Affectionately known by “Stan”, he graduated from Central High School in 1963, where he was a member of the school choir. After graduating, Stan enlisted in The United States Marine Corps, stationed out of Camp Pendleton, California. He served and fought for his country in the Vietnam War between the years of 1966-1968.

After serving his country, he returned home and began working at the Timken Roller Bearing Company until he retired. He enjoyed listening, playing, and singing “Old School” R & B Music, taking early morning walks, riding his bicycle, and watching old movies. He really enjoyed watching football every Sunday afternoon. Who was he watching? “How ’bout dem Cowboys!”

Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Kathleen Milner, his brothers Charles and Paul Milner, his sister Mary Milner, and his only son, Marlon F. Milner (Tutie-Man). He is survived by his brother, Ronald, his only daughter, Dr. Michelle Milner, his grandson, M. Xavure Milner, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
