PACKER,

George Packer I, was born in Hybart Alabama on April 17, 1938 and went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2012 in Columbus, OH. George retired from Big Drum Corp. and the City of Columbus Refuse Collection Division as a Supervisor working from 1972-1998. He was the third youngest of 10 children, three of which preceded him in death, Fred, Leslie and Joseph. George leaves to cherish his memory, his former wife of 22 years and best friend, Florence Packer, son George (Angie) Packer Jr., son/grandson Levell Davis, two daughters Jeannette (Elder Willie) Franklin and Stephanie Faye Packer, four brothers James (Carrie-Mae) Packer, Roosevelt (Mary) Packer, Ashley Packer and John Packer, two sisters Pauthenia Jenning and Mattie Nettles, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Visitation 9:00am and Funeral 10:00am Saturday January 5, 2013 at Power and Glory Ministries 7370 Tussing Rd.
