Glenn Rondo Sr.

Glenn Rondo, known to his loved ones as “Pops,” age 70, of Columbus, OH passed away peacefully on August 6, 2024. He was born on May 15, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Evelyn L. Owens and Roosevelt Harrelle. He was raised by his mother and step-father, Alan Owens. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Denise Norman-Rondo, along with his sons, James (Rebecca), Glenn Jr. (Scott), Kevin (Karinn), and Michael (Shannon); his daughters, Desiree, Treniece, Gladys (Detroit), Christina, and Nakisha (Tyrone); siblings, Glennis (Bill), and Alan Jr.; and many other family members and friends. In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Glenn's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Glenn's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as he finds rest in the embrace of eternity. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marlan Gary Funeral Home Chapel of Peace - East (5456 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
