Gwendolyn Elaine Singleton was born to the late Rosie Bradfield—Singleton and William Singleton on December 17, 1952, in Columbus, OH. On December 8, 2024, she went to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Linda Singleton—Thompson (Ronnie Thompson), Mary Hammonds—Miller, Wilma Jean Singleton—Hinton, niece Sherri Hines, and nephew Jerry Hammonds.
She leaves to cherish her memory her nieces and nephews: Tiffany Hines-Smith (Gary Smith), Jonele Hinton, Lanita Singleton, Makia Singleton, Jimmy Hammonds, Jeffrey Hammonds, Janine Hammonds, Janice Hammonds, and Joseph Hammonds, and a host of great–nieces and nephews.
Gwendolyn attended Linden McKinley High School from 1966 – 1970 when she graduated. In her free time, she loved to play video games, specifically Super Mario Brothers and to spend time with her family which she adored. She rededicated her life back over to the Lord when she became a member of Jordan Bible Church, where she tried to make the best of every situation, as it was an integral part of her way of life.
