Sister Ward joined Triedstone Baptist Church January 1979 and remained faithful until her health no longer permitted attendance. She LOVED her church and had a special relationship with Bishop Jerome Ross, Sr. and his family! She served with the Nurses Corp, Deaconess Board, Woman Be Blessed Ministry and Hospitality Committee. She was also responsible for the landscape of the church and took pride in her work! Mother Ward had a heart for people of all ages especially the youth and lent a helping hand with In His Image Mime Ministry. She was the visionary for Committee of Concern. She was instrumental in mentoring young women to carry out the principles of the Committee of Concern by taking them on visits and encouraging their growth in evangelism. It is obvious that Mother Ward wore many hats at Triedstone but her love for OSU Buckeyes was apparent by her favorite OSU hat! She followed all sports and especially enjoyed attending games of many of the Triedstone children!
